This study aims to provide an experimental investigation and comparison of the condensation heat transfer characteristics in a plate–fin exchanger (PFHE). The flux, mass saturation pressure were adjusted as parameters verify effects on transfer. In addition, correlation two-stream PFHEs was provided based data for utilization design reference exchanger. turbulence is most influential One ways foster increase shear stress. higher flow velocity results That why increasing flux or with vapor quality showed coefficient (HTC). Refrigerant properties such viscosity specific volume changed according pressure. It expected they affect degree too similar manners. more than Thus, equivalent refrigerant dominant derived model. average difference between calculated HTC from correlations about 6.5%. Multi-stream PFHE comprises additional surface, which implies active droplet formation. drop multi-stream 15% larger that two-stream.
